The White Lion is a Grade II listed building with a rich heritage and is a famous landmark, with a hostelry standing on the site since the 15th Century.
The pub has been transformed by licensee Eleanor’s feminine touch from an old tired pub into a traditional pub with a modern twist, based upon good old fashioned standards of courtesy and friendliness.
We offer a range of keg and cask ales and delicious home cooked food presented by our highly regarded resident chef Darren. We are committed to supporting our neighbouring businesses, so all our meals are prepared with only local produce.
